DESCRIPTION

Reid Mitchell is appointed by a UK Bank to deliver Programme Management, Project Management, Building Surveying and Principal Designer services across their full estate. Our appointment to date has included:

• Refit Programme – Delivery of a major refit programme involving over 100 projects throughout the UK.
• New Branch Fit Out Projects – Assisting in the delivery of new UK branches, which includes works such as complete strip-out of the previous tenant fit-out, managing minor structural changes, full replacement of all mechanical and electrical systems, and executing a full fit-out according to brand design standards.
• Building Condition Surveys – Conducting an annual survey programme to assess the condition of the estate, utilising a proprietary survey tool to help the bank understand their ongoing maintenance obligations.
• Annual Fabric Programme – Overseeing the scoping and management of the annual fabric programme, building upon the outputs from the annual survey programme and formulating a comprehensive scope of works required for each property.
• Satellite Hubs – Successfully delivering flexible workspace solutions for staff through a series of satellite office hubs, utilising vacant space within the estate to create agile working and training facilities.
• Dilapidations – Leading on the delivery of closures and thereafter supporting the Bank to negotiate dilapidations settlements upon exit.

Throughout all our engagements, our programme management function plays a pivotal role in assisting the bank with managing spend, procurement, and reporting activities.
