CALLUM NAPIER

Callum joined Reid Mitchell in March 2022 as a Building Surveyor. He graduated Edinburgh Napier University in October 2022 however gained experience during his time at university working as a Graduate Apprentice.
Callum has experience surveying a wide range of buildings and producing various reports such as PPM’s, Schedule of Conditions and Schedules of Dilapidations as well as managing projects for Clients. He is currently enrolled in the RICS APC and will be sitting the final assessment in the near future.
Away from work Callum spends his time either playing or watching sport. Whether that is playing rugby for his local club Peebles or watching Hibernian at Easter Road.
CAMERON JOHNSTONE

Cameron joined Reid Mitchell in early 2021 after graduating from Edinburgh Napier University. He has been responsible for the delivery of a number of building fabric work projects across the UK and has also gained valuable experience in dilapidations and other professional instructions.
Cameron is working towards becoming a member of the RICS, sitting his APC in the near future.
Away from work, Cameron mainly spends his time at the gym and enjoys the laughs and atmosphere in the pubs of Edinburgh with friends and family.
DECLAN McCULLOCH

Declan joined Reid Mitchell in early 2023, bringing his 8 years of experience in main contracting to a consultancy environment.
Declan brings significant technical knowledge to his role. His skills and experience are valuable to our project management offer, using his expertise in construction methodology and programming to support projects of varying scale.
Away from work, Declan spends his time with his wife, family and friends. He is a very keen golfer and loves live music so often goes to see his favourite artists whenever they are in town.
DONALD REID

Donald is one of the founders of Reid Mitchell with nearly 30 years of industry experience.
Donald brings significant commercial expertise to his projects. His experience gained in both construction consultancy and property consultancy environments, in tandem with securing a postgraduate diploma in Property Investment offers Clients a unique mix of core Project Management capability with excellent commercial understanding.
During his career Donald has been engaged on over 1,000,000sqft of space for Developers/Investors and over 750,000sqft for Corporates/Occupiers.
Donald is currently the Chair of the Scottish Judging Panel for the British Council for Offices annual awards.
In his spare time, Donald can generally be found ‘on a course’ as an active member of Longniddry Golf Club.
EVE MALLON
ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR

Eve joined Reid Mitchell in 2023 and brings with her a wealth of experience from over 13 years delivering a diverse range of multi-million pound projects, most recently leading the University of Glasgow’s new Adam Smith Business School and leading the Estates Optimisation strategy at Glasgow School of Art.
Eve is a former RICS UK Young Project Manager of the Year and Glasgow RICS Matrics Chair and has a real passion for supporting the next generation through these crucial early stages of their careers.
In her spare time, Eve is a keen runner and cross fitter and loves spending time with her family, which mostly involves being Project Managed by her daughter, the baby boss of the house!
EWAN WYLLIE

Ewan joined Reid Mitchell in 2024 to lead our CDM Consultancy service. He is an associate member of the Association for Project Safety and is a CDM subject matter expert with over 18 years’ experience in construction health and safety.
Ewan is also a chartered building surveyor with over 19 years post qualified experience. Ewan has extensive experience in acting as principal designer and advisor to the principal designer for projects of varying size and complexity across a variety of sectors throughout Scotland and the rest of the UK.
In his spare time Ewan enjoys hill walking and getting away in his motorhome. He is also an avid rugby and football fan.
GAIL GALBRAITH

Gail has worked in a variety of Business Development and Marketing roles since starting in the construction industry nearly 20 years ago, with experience in both consultancy and contracting businesses.
As Head of Business Development, Gail’s key responsibility is driving the strategic growth of the business.
Living near the sea, Gail loves being outdoors with her family and enjoying the water.
GREG BAILEY

Greg graduated from Edinburgh Napier University in 2021 with a MSc in Construction Project Management, gaining experience as a Site Manager before joining Reid Mitchell in early 2022. Since joining the company, he has been involved in the delivery of numerous office and bank refurbishment projects that have involved him travelling throughout the UK. He is currently working to become a Chartered Project Manager through the RICS APC.
In his free time, Greg likes to keep fit by regularly going to the gym and playing football. He also loves watching Scotland play rugby, preferably from the comfort of a good bar in Edinburgh.
GREIG MITCHELL

Greig is a Chartered Building Surveyor and co-founded Reid Mitchell in 2018 having worked in private practice since 2004.
Greig, one of the leading specialists in the delivery of Building Surveying services in Scotland, has delivered numerous Technical Due Diligence and Dilapidations instructions along with complex alteration and refurbishment projects throughout his career. Greig has a particular specialism in Development Monitoring.
Greig has presented seminars on various Building Surveying related topics at RICS events and other private functions.
Greig’s energy is focussed on delivering an exceptional level of service to Reid Mitchell’s clients by knowing the detail and nurturing and utilising the right people to deliver for the client.
When Greig is not spending precious time with his young family, you will find him on the golf course, out for a run or (occasionally) enjoying a beer with his friends watching football.
HAYLEY WRIGHT
SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER

Hayley is a Chartered Project Manager and was the first recruit to Reid Mitchell in 2019 with several years of experience within the industry under her belt.
Hayley has been responsible for the delivery of a number of corporate office projects since joining the company but also brings experience of working in the Public Sector, leading multi-disciplinary teams to align business aspirations with project deliverables. Hayley is currently Vice Chair of the BCO Next Gen Committee and enjoys connecting with like minded people at industry events.
Hayley’s free time is usually spent on the side lines watching rugby, either at Murrayfield or in her hometown of Musselburgh, or out discovering new restaurants.
JACK MONAGHAN

After graduating with a degree in Construction Project Management in 2022, Jack spent nearly 2 years at a global engineering consultancy and worked on a number of prominent large public sector contracts.
Jack is supporting our Project Management team on a diverse range of projects in the higher education, commercial and retail sectors.
In his spare time Jack is a keen golfer. Away from the golf course, Jack enjoys spending time taking in the many views of Scotland’s magnificent countryside as well as spending time with friends and family at home.
KERR GRAY

Kerr is a Chartered Building Surveyor who extensively leads Project Management commissions across the variety of projects which Reid Mitchell deliver. Kerr is responsible for managing the Reid Mitchell Glasgow office and leads the overall Business Operations group.
Kerr has over 22 years’ experience within the Building Surveying and Project Management services sectors. He brings real focus to achieving stakeholder requirements and understanding what success looks like for our clients. He has a demonstrable track record in delivering successful projects.
Away from work, Kerr splits his time between his family, the golf course and going on the occasional run. He is also known for a favoured trip to the East Neuk of Fife.
LAURA CUNNINGHAM

Laura joined Reid Mitchell in 2022 as a Project Manager, previously having specialised as a Building Surveyor for over 5 years. She has been responsible for the delivery of several retail and corporate office projects.
Since joining the business, Laura has been primarily working with one of our retail banking clients, leading a 70+ branch refit programme, from initial outset to completion. Laura is currently working towards gaining her chartership within the RICS.
Laura’s free time is usually spent at the top of a mountain, enjoying the views of Scotland, or in the gym trying to improve on her fitness.

Laura is an experienced Project Manager with over 15 years in the industry advising occupiers, developers and investors on how to build, adapt, add value and maintain their assets.
She has delivered several complex and high-profile projects primarily within the commercial sector. Her sociable nature complements her management, problem solving and negotiating skills when dealing with contractual and commercially sensitive situations.
Laura is a mother of two. In her free time, she enjoys gardening, swimming, long walks with the dog and the occasional bottomless brunch.

Lianne joined Reid Mitchell in September 2023 as a Director to head up Building Surveying Services in our Glasgow office. Lianne is a chartered building surveyor with 19 years industry experience and her experience spans the full spectrum of Building Surveying Services including Due Diligence, Dilapidations – acting on behalf of landlord and Tenant, and Contract Administration Roles.
Prior to joining Reid Mitchell, Lianne spent 5 years of her career client side, successfully delivering a number of multi-million pound building redevelopments acting as Development Manager.
Lianne is a mum of 2 and in her spare time enjoy’s any opportunity to go on holiday or meet up with friends for cocktails.
LORNA REID

Lorna joined Reid Mitchell in February 2022 after running her own property business for 10 years and has over 25 years of experience in the property market.
As Head of Business Support, Lorna supports the Leadership Team on all business matters. Lorna’s role encompasses all aspects of supporting & running a successful Property Consultancy.
Lorna enjoys nothing more than walking the family’s two Labradors and has been known the hit the golf course on occasion, but preferably in sunnier climates.

Marie is an experienced Project Manager with over 23 years in the Construction Industry. Since joining Reid Mitchell in 2022, she has been responsible for leading projects and building relationships with key corporate and developer Clients.
Marie has delivered numerous complex and high-profile projects within a variety of sectors including healthcare, residential, commercial, regeneration and government.
Marie is a keen artist and when not spending time with family, she will be found being creative behind a sketch pad.
MARK FINLAYSON

Mark is a Chartered Building Surveyor with 18 years’ experience in both the private and public sector delivering a wide range of commissions from large new build projects to retail fit-out programmes. Mark has carried out technical due diligence inspections and provided dilapidations advice to clients throughout the UK.
Mark has extensive experience delivering and working within multi-disciplinary frameworks for large portfolio clients having recently managed a national commission for Scottish Fire and Rescue Service.
When Mark is not spending time with his three young kids, you’ll usually find him near a pitch, playing, watching or coaching football.

Mark joined Reid Mitchell in December 2019 and has over 14 years’ experience within the industry, specialising initially within Building Surveying before progressing into Project Management.
Mark’s excellent interpersonal and motivational skills are key in his ability to bring clients, project teams and contractors/suppliers together, encouraging them to work as a cohesive team to achieve the right result for his clients.
Away from the office, Mark spends much of his time running around after his two young sons, going to the gym or out on extremely long walks.
PAUL BURNS

Paul has over 12 years’ experience within Building Surveying and Project Management services roles and has worked in a wide range of sectors during this time, including education, health, housing, local authority, and retail banking.
Since joining Reid Mitchell in 2021, Paul has assumed the role of project lead on a number of large office and branch refit projects for our retail banking clients. He has an eye for detail and drive to provide the highest level of service.
Away from work, Paul likes to spend time in the outdoors walking and climbing. He has a keen interest in watching and playing football and generally keeping fit.

Sam joined Reid Mitchell in early 2024 on a part time basis whilst completing his studies at Glasgow Caledonian University. Sam will become a full time team member in Summer 2024.
Sam will support our Building Surveying team in Glasgow on various commissions and surveys. This hands-on experience not only contributes to the success of our projects but also serves as a platform for Sam to cultivate and expand his knowledge in the sector.

Sam is a Chartered Building Surveyor and joined Reid Mitchell in 2019 after gaining experience in the construction industry, working for housing associations and consultancy organisations across Scotland.
Sam has been responsible for the delivery of Professional and Contract projects throughout the UK. Sam’s experience spans across both Building Surveying and Principal Designer services. Sam is currently Vice Chair of the RICS Matrics Committee in Edinburgh and is responsible for the learning and development within the company.
Sam’s free time is usually spent either watching or playing football, with him being a long suffering St Johnstone season ticket holder. You can also find him catching up with the latest TV show or getting frustrated at the newest video game.
SHELLEY MCFARLANE

Shelley joined Reid Mitchell in August 2022 as a Programme Manager, leading the PMO for one of our retail banking clients. Shelley has worked for various leading property companies over the past 22 years and brings a wealth of experience to her role.
In Shelley’s spare time, she enjoys brunching with friends, spending quality time with her young niece and nephews. Shelley is always counting down to her next holiday and thrives on pinning a new destination on her world map.
