DESCRIPTION

Reid Mitchell was appointed to oversee the refurbishment of this prominent and distinguished listed building on Buchanan Street in Glasgow on behalf of Old Park Lane Management.  The property combines premises on both Buchanan Street and Royal Exchange Square.

With the existing tenants relocating, an opportunity for redevelopment arose. Our Building Surveying team undertook a comprehensive survey of required fabric repairs, meticulously scoping and tendering all stone works. Following this, our Project Management team orchestrated the strip-out and remodelling process to facilitate the division of the space into alternative demised areas.

The project culminated in a successful completion in 2022, attracting two incoming tenants. This included the establishment of a new restaurant on Royal Exchange Square and the inauguration of a significant anchor store by Lush Cosmetics on Buchanan Street.
